Join The Royal British Legion today

You will be asked to commit to pay an annual membership fee* plus the administration fee for the Branch of your choice (ranging from £16.00 to £26.00 incl. per annum), excluding any donation you may decide to make. Payment is by direct debit only and you must use a current UK Bank Account.

If you are a UK taxpayer please tick the box for Gift Aid. We'll get the tax back on your subscription and any voluntary donation you may make, increasing the amount the Legion receives by 25%.

*Please note that the Legion membership year ends on 30 September. Applications made by 30 June will receive a Membership Card that expires 30 September of that Legion year and will be charged the listed membership fee for that year. Members will be further charged their annual membership fee in October (which may rise by £1) and will be sent a new Membership Card for the following Legion year.

Applications made from 1 July will be charged the annual membership fee for the following year and will receive their Membership Card with an expiration date of October of the following year (ie 15 months of Membership).
